Next year, in Spring 2019, the NBTA will be 10 years old. That’s 10 years of fighting the attempts of navigation and local authorities to get rid of live-aboards; 10 years of standing up for the the rights of itinerant boat dwellers and 10 years of looking out for and supporting Bargee Travellers.
So rather than hold an Annual General Meeting in November 2018 the NBTA is proposing to have celebrations and actions in the Spring of 2019. To plan these events members are invited to an Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday 15th September 2018 from 3pm to 7pm at the Friends Meeting House, 150 Church Road, Watford, WD17 4QB (and a trip to the pub afterwards).
All Members are invited to come and contribute to deciding how we celebrate 10 years of fighting back. Children are welcome.
