CRT is attending community events while at the same time ramping up enforcement against our community. On 1st April 2026, the licence surcharge on boats without a home mooring increased to a damaging 15%. Meetings with the new Chief Executive have not so far produced any change to CRT’s policies regarding itinerant boat dwellers. Please help leaflet and talk to members of the public at future events where CRT has a stall! We are looking for people to organise leafleting and help with leafleting at events. It can be an enjoyable day out, meeting people and explaining the unique experience of our community.
