Be a real friend of the waterways, help to protect the itinerant boat dwelling community! Have an impact on CRT, inform the public that the surcharge and the licence review commission’s recommendations are unjust and discriminatory! We have a revised leaflet to hand out this Spring at events where CRT has a stall. We are looking for people to organise leafleting at events from April 2026 onwards, when the licence surcharge on boats without a home mooring is due to go up to a damaging 15%. Please tell us if you are interested in helping with leafleting and/or organising leafleting at specific events. Leafleting can be an enjoyable day out, meeting people and explaining the unique experience of our community.
We plan to leaflet at St Richard’s Canal Festival, Droitwich, Worcestershire, on 1st-4th May, and at Canalway Cavalcade, London, on 2nd-4th May.
